new shoes

So, when the husband came home from work yesterday I rushed out for a quick run in my new shoes.  My knees were still hurting a bit but I am happy to report that they do not feel sore today. Yay! So, hopefully, I can start building my mileage now that I have better shoes and more support.  So, here was yesterday’s workout.

  • 5 minute warmup
  • 3 minute jog, 90 second walk
  • 5 minute jog, 2 1/2 minute walk
  • 3 minute jog, 90 second walk
  • 5 minute jog, walk to finish 30 minutes of exercise

I’m not going to lie, the five minute jogs seemed like a long time! But, at least I am running for longer intervals.  And hopefully once I get more sleep at night I can run more.  Alright, OK is calling!
